Our success story
Our customer (health insurances, Switzerland, 3700 MA) was faced with the challenge to lift their existing SAP landscape (ECC 6.0, on premise, focus on SAP HCM & FI/CO, SAP Portal for ESS/MSS) to S/4 HANA in the near future, replace their ESS/MSS processes with SAP Fiori applications and migrate the entire landscape to the Microsoft Azure Cloud. As various service providers submitted different, possible project approaches and this only caused uncertainty instead of clarity on the part of the customer, wescaleIT was commissioned to perform a comprehensive migration and cloud analysis for the customer in order to create a detailed project plan. Within a few months, the system landscape, technical and business processes, technical conditions, requirements, goals, feasibility, and wishes were recorded, analyzed, and discussed with the customer, Microsoft, and SAP in order to create a project plan, including individual project steps and time estimates. In addition, a cloud model was developed that met the requirements of FinMa (the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority) as well as those of the customer. Finally, an app concept was created to map all existing ESS/MSS processes. The results of the analysis formed the basis for our client’s strategy development. Parts of the recommendations for action have already been implemented by wescaleIT.
